Code Information

The Restraints Control Module (RCM, also called the Airbag Control Module or SRS module) provides and monitors a clean low impedance ground or signal return to each remote crash sensor. DTC B1907 sets when the RCM detects that the ground or return circuit to Crash Sensor #2 is faulty, typically because the ground wire is open, has high resistance, or is making poor contact with the sensor or with the module ground bus.
