DTC B2145 is set when a control module detects that the Radio Frequency Hopping Rate (RF HR) data stored in its Non Volatile Memory (NVM) is corrupted, invalid, or fails an integrity check. The RF HR value is the rolling code counter used by Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) and similar wireless systems to ensure each remote transmission is unique and cannot be replayed by an attacker.
