Code Information

The Restraints Control Module (RCM) continuously monitors every airbag squib (inflator) circuit independently, applying very small test currents and expecting each squib loop to behave as an isolated firing circuit. Code B0001:19 sets when the RCM detects that the right hand front (RHF) airbag squib circuit is electrically bridged to one or more other airbag squib circuits in the vehicle, such as the left hand front, side, curtain, knee, or seat belt pretensioner circuits.
