Code Information

SCP (Standard Corporate Protocol) is Ford's implementation of the SAE J1850 in vehicle communication network that allows the PCM and other modules to share data. The HBCC is the internal communication controller within the PCM that manages message traffic on the SCP network. DTC P1195 is set when, during power up, the PCM cannot successfully initialize this SCP communication controller and is therefore unable to establish communication on the network.
