Code Information

On Ford applications the PCM monitors the voltage on its keep alive and ignition power feeds, including during the key off power down period after the engine is shut down. DTC P1197 is set when the PCM detects a lower than expected voltage on the monitored key off circuit, meaning the feed that should keep the module powered has dropped below the required threshold.
