When C1200 is stored, the module has detected a short-circuit (voltage pulled to ground or to supply) in the monitored circuit.

Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module controls hydraulic solenoid valves inside the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) to modulate brake pressure at each wheel. The Left Front (LF) inlet, or isolation, valve holds and isolates brake pressure at that wheel during anti-lock and stability events. DTC C1200 is the short to battery variant of the left front inlet valve coil fault and is set when the module detects battery voltage on the coil control circuit when it should be controlling that circuit to ground.
