Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module controls hydraulic solenoid valves inside the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) to modulate brake pressure. On systems that control the rear axle as a single channel, one outlet (dump) valve releases brake pressure for the rear circuit during anti-lock and stability events. DTC C1202 is set when the module detects an electrical failure, such as an open circuit, short to ground, or short to power, in the Rear outlet valve coil circuit.
