Code Information

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module controls a high current pump motor relay that supplies power to the ABS hydraulic pump motor during ABS, traction control, or stability control events. DTC C1268 is set when the ABS module detects a failure of the number one motor relay circuit, typically an open circuit, short to ground, or a feedback signal that does not match the commanded state of the relay.
