Code Information

The chime input request circuit is a low current control wire used by the Body Control Module (BCM) to command the warning chime module or chime driver to sound. The BCM grounds or pulses this circuit when it needs to alert the driver about conditions such as the key being left in the ignition, headlights left on, seatbelt unfastened, or a door left open.
