Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the wiper mode select switch input to determine the wiper operating mode commanded by the driver, including off, intermittent, low speed, and high speed positions. DTC B1441 is set when the BCM detects a short to ground condition on the wiper mode select switch signal circuit, which forces the input voltage outside the expected range for any valid switch position.
