Code Information

The wiper washer pump motor relay coil is the low current electromagnet inside the relay that closes the high current contacts when energised by the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM drives one side of the coil through a low side or high side driver while the other coil pin connects to a permanent battery feed or chassis ground depending on architecture, and the BCM monitors the coil control circuit voltage during both commanded and resting states.
