Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the wiper motor high and low speed control circuits to manage windscreen wiper operation. DTC B1467 sets when the BCM detects unexpected battery voltage on either the high speed or low speed circuit when the output should be inactive, indicating a short to battery somewhere between the BCM driver and the motor. The wiper motor uses two separate brush positions (one for low speed and one for high speed) energised by the BCM through internal drivers or via a wiper speed relay.
