DTC B1835 is set when the Body Control Module (BCM) detects an open circuit on the Door Unlock Disarm output on Ford vehicles equipped with the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS). The disarm output is the command line that the BCM uses to signal downstream modules or relays to release the antitheft state and unlock the doors after a valid disarm event.
