Code Information

The Engine Control Module (ECM) calculates engine load from more than one source, principally the Mass Air Flow sensor and the manifold pressure sensor, and continuously cross checks these load values against the expected load for the current throttle angle and engine speed. DTC P1141 is set when the load value derived from one source does not agree with the others within the allowed range, meaning the measured airflow does not make sense for the throttle opening and RPM.
