The upstream heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) on Bank 1 Sensor 1 should switch rapidly between rich and lean as the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) trims fuel in closed loop. DTC P1130 sets when this sensor stops switching and the PCM drives the fuel trim to its maximum or minimum limit trying to bring mixture back to stoichiometric, indicating either a sensor that has stopped responding or a real rich or lean condition the PCM can no longer correct.
