Code Information

This DTC is set when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a fault in the Transmission Fluid Pressure (TFP) manual valve position switch circuit, specifically when the 4WD Low indicator circuit is shorted to battery voltage. The TFP switch is a multi-position switch inside the transmission that signals the PCM of the manual valve's position by applying different combinations of grounded and open circuits across a set of input pins.
