This DTC sets when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects an invalid or inconsistent combination of signals from the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch, also known as the Pressure Switch Manifold or PSM. The switch is a set of internal pressure switches that provide discrete voltage signal combinations corresponding to the manual valve, or gear selector, position.
