Code Information

This DTC is set when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects an electrical fault in one of the shift control solenoid circuits. Shift control solenoids manage hydraulic pressure within the valve body to engage and disengage specific gears based on driving conditions. The code is triggered when the solenoid circuit shows characteristics such as an open, a short to ground, a short to power, or out of range resistance during commanded operation.
