Code Information

This DTC is set when the transfer case control module detects a short to ground in the counter-clockwise shift relay coil circuit. If the voltage drops to near zero unexpectedly, indicating a direct path to ground on the control or power side of the relay coil, the module logs this fault. This condition can prevent the relay from activating properly and inhibit transfer case motor movement.
