Code Information

This DTC is set when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects that the temperature of the dual clutch assembly has exceeded a calibrated thermal threshold. The TCM continuously monitors clutch temperature using an internal algorithm based on vehicle load, slip, and engagement time. If excessive clutch slip or prolonged engagement causes predicted or actual clutch temperature to rise beyond safe operating limits, this fault is logged to prevent clutch damage and initiate protective strategies.
