Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the door lock cylinder switch, which provides an input signal when a key is inserted and turned in the driver's door (and on some vehicles the passenger door) lock cylinder. DTC B1560 is set when the BCM detects an open circuit between itself and the door lock cylinder switch, meaning the expected voltage or ground signal cannot be seen during normal monitoring.
