Code Information

B1565 indicates that the Body Control Module (BCM) has detected a short to battery voltage on the door ajar input line. The door ajar switch should pull this input to ground when the door is open, and the BCM input is biased to a low pull up voltage when the door is closed. When the BCM sees the input pulled up to battery voltage (around 12V to 14V) instead of either ground or its normal pull up level, it sets B1565.
