The B1569 fault code indicates that the Body Control Module (BCM) has detected a short to battery voltage condition on the high beam headlamp circuit. The BCM monitors the high beam supply circuit for proper voltage and current behaviour, and expects to see voltage only when it commands the high beams on. This code is set when battery voltage is sensed on the high beam supply circuit at a time when the BCM is not actively driving the output, indicating that an external battery feed has shorted into the circuit.
