Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the rest position of the rear wiper using a park sense input wired to a cam driven switch internal to the rear wiper motor. DTC B1824 sets when the BCM detects battery voltage on the rear wiper park sense input at a time when the input should be at its normal low or pull up reference level, indicating the sense circuit has shorted to a powered wire somewhere in the harness.
