Code Information

The upstream heated oxygen sensor on Bank 1, identified as sensor 1, switches as the exhaust mixture crosses the stoichiometric point and lets the Engine Control Module (ECM) keep fuelling in closed loop control. DTC P1149 is stored when the Bank 1 upstream sensor signal or its control value falls outside the normal operating range, so the ECM can no longer hold the mixture within limits.
