Nissan and Infiniti engines use Intake Valve Timing Control, a variable valve timing system that advances and retards the intake camshaft using an oil control solenoid feeding a cam phaser. DTC P1135 applies to Bank 2, the cylinder bank that does not contain cylinder number one, and sets when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects a fault in the intake valve timing control solenoid circuit or that the camshaft is not achieving the commanded phase angle on that bank.
