Code Information

This DTC sets when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the air fuel ratio sensor (AF sensor) responds slowly or not at all to changes in the air fuel mixture under dynamic engine conditions. The ECM monitors how quickly the sensor output responds as it makes fuel trim adjustments. If the sensor fails to react within the specified time, indicating a sluggish or unresponsive element, the ECM logs this fault.
