This DTC concerns the electrical circuit of a transmission shift control solenoid, one of the solenoids the Transmission Control Module energises to direct hydraulic pressure for gear shifting. The module continuously monitors the solenoid circuit for the expected voltage and current as it switches the solenoid on and off.
