In this application DTC B0070 sets when the Airbag Control Module (ACM) detects a short to ground in the Right Hand Front (RHF) seat belt pretensioner squib circuit. The squib is the small electrical igniter that fires the pretensioner charge, and the ACM monitors its circuit resistance continuously, flagging this fault when the loop makes unintended contact with chassis earth and resistance drops below the acceptable range.
