In this application DTC B0070 sets when the Airbag Control Module (ACM) measures a resistance in the Right Hand Front (RHF) seat belt pretensioner squib circuit that is lower than the specified range. The squib is the electrical igniter that fires the pretensioner charge, and the ACM watches its loop resistance continuously, storing this fault when the reading drops below the calibrated lower limit, which points to a short across the squib conductors or a short to another circuit.
