Code Information

The airbag control module (ACM) monitors the Left Hand Front (LHF) seat belt pretensioner squib circuit for correct resistance and isolation from chassis ground. DTC B0072:11 sets when the ACM detects that one or both conductors of the pretensioner deployment circuit are making unintended contact with vehicle ground, causing measured resistance to fall below the acceptable threshold.
