Code Information

On BMW vehicles the Digital Motor Electronics (DME) controls the running losses control solenoid valve, which regulates purge flow of fuel vapour from the EVAP charcoal canister into the intake manifold. DTC P1145 sets when the DME detects an electrical fault in that solenoid valve control circuit, such as an open, a short to ground or to power, or abnormal resistance.
