Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) sets DTC B1320 when it detects an open circuit in the driver door ajar switch input. The driver door ajar switch is typically a plunger switch in the door latch or a hall effect device, and its signal returns to the BCM through a single conductor that runs through the door to body harness boot. An open circuit fault means the BCM is reading no return signal at all, regardless of door position.
