Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) on this Ford drives the left hand rear stop and turn lamp output through an internal switching stage and continuously measures the current and voltage on that circuit. With the lamp commanded on the BCM expects to see a voltage close to battery voltage at the output pin and a current draw within the correct range for the rated bulb or LED assembly. DTC B132B:14 is stored when the BCM sees a circuit voltage lower than expected, indicating a short to ground, or no current flow at all with the output commanded on, indicating an open circuit.
