Control Module Power Circuit Low/High Voltage
B1325 — Control Module Power Circuit Low/High Voltage
System: Body | Type: Manufacturer-Specific | Make: Generic
B1325 is a manufacturer-specific body diagnostic trouble code. It belongs to the B-prefix family of codes, which covers body, interior, airbag, or comfort-electronics faults.
When B1325 is stored, the module has detected a signal or supply voltage lower than the expected operating range; and a signal or supply voltage higher than the expected operating range.
Scanning & clearing: Body (B) codes are often stored in the body control module, airbag module, or climate module. A basic OBD-II tool usually will not read body codes — an enhanced or OEM-level scan tool is typically required.
B1325 is a manufacturer-specific code. The same code string on a different make may have a different meaning. Always confirm the code's definition against the vehicle's service information for the specific make and model under test.
This code relates to the power supply feeding the body control module or another control module, which the module monitors on its main voltage input. DTC B1325 sets when that supply voltage falls outside the acceptable operating window, either too low, often from a discharged battery, poor connections, or a charging fault, or too high, typically from an overcharging alternator or failing voltage regulator. Control modules are sensitive to supply quality, so out of range voltage can cause erratic operation, dropped communication, false faults, or a failure to function correctly. Depending on th...
