Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the passenger front door ajar switch input and sets DTC B1327 when it detects an electrical fault that prevents the input from reporting valid door state. The passenger door ajar switch is a jamb mounted or latch integrated switch that pulls the BCM input to ground when the door is open and lets it float to a reference voltage when the door is closed.
