Code Information

The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the door ajar warning lamp drive output and sets DTC B1324 when it detects an open circuit on this output. An open can be caused by a broken wire between the BCM and the cluster, a failed warning lamp, an unplugged connector, or a corroded terminal that has lost contact. The door ajar warning lamp normally illuminates to alert the driver whenever any door ajar switch indicates an open door.
